Are you looking the best Thailand Pass system

Thailand Pass: Thailand Pass is a web-based system for Thai and foreign travelers to fill in their travel and health information. Once the application and the registration are approved, a QR Code will be generated and will be used by the traveler that will serve as identification or profile of the traveler. The QR code will be scanned upon entry, and once the QR code is scanned, the authorities will see all the details that you have entered and all documents that you have uploaded, including your COVID travel insurance policy, your confirmed hotel booking, vaccination certificate, etc. during the registration. If you do not carry a mobile phone with the QR Code, you may print out a hard copy of the QR code and bring it with you to present it to the officers at the airport.

Approval Process:  Upon submission of your Thailand Pass application, the staff of your booked hotel will authenticate the reservation (room for Day 1 and Day 5, airport transfer, and 2 RT-PCR tests). The hotel will reject any incomplete or non-compliance documentation and a notification email will be sent to you by the Thailand Pass system to resubmit the application with additional documents. Any rejected application at this stage must contact thaiimmigration.net hotel immediately. It is highly recommended that travelers book their hotel accommodation directly with the hotel to expedite the authentication process by hotels. Once verified or approved by the hotel, your Thailand Pass application will be sent to the Department of Disease Control (DDC)  for further consideration (to check the Vaccine Certificate and COVID Insurance). If approved by the DDC, the Thailand Pass will be issued and the Thailand Pass QR code will be sent through email within 7 days.

Who needs to apply for Thailand Pass? Effective from 1 November 2021, all travelers arriving in Thailand by air are required to register with Thailand Pass in order to travel into Thailand. The following are the three schemes through which foreigners and Thai nationals can enter Thailand, and all these travelers should apply for the Thailand Pass.

Test & Go_ Under the Test and Go scheme, fully vaccinated travelers, both Thai, and foreigners, are allowed to enter Thailand without mandatory quarantine or sandbox stay. Fully vaccinated travelers from any country around the world can apply for a ‘Test and Go’ Thailand Pass up to 60 days in advance.

Sandbox program_ The Sandbox program plan is another scheme of entry to Thailand that allows fully vaccinated travelers to enter specific regions within the country without quarantine, provided that they stay at least the first 7 nights within approved hotels in a Sandbox destination if they are planning to continue the journey to other destinations in Thailand.

Alternative quarantine_ Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travelers may still enter Thailand but must serve the mandatory Alternative Quarantine (AQ) of 7 or 10 days in designated quarantine hotels in Thailand.

Who Needs A Thailand Pass To Travel To Thailand? Currently, all travelers heading to Thailand will need a Thailand Pass. The Thailand Pass itself is divided into three options/programs. Your time spent in quarantine will be determined by the program you qualify for.

Fully Vaccinated for the Test and Go Program_Travelers who are fully vaccinated, both Thai and foreigners will be permitted to enter Thailand without a lengthy quarantine. Upon entry into Thailand, you'll undergo a mandatory COVID-19 PT-PCR test. After being tested, you need to stay in an ASQ or SHA+ hotel for 1 night (on day 1 and day 5). Once you receive your negative test result, you're free to enjoy your trip to Thailand. Travelers who are fully vaccinated but don't reside in an eligible country will fall under the sandbox program.

Fully Vaccinated under Sandbox Program (for all countries) Suppose you reside in a country that is not eligible for the Test and Go Program. In that case, you fall under the Fully Vaccinated Sandbox Program. Under the sandbox program, you're required to quarantine 7 nights in an accredited SHA+ Hotel in specific Sandbox areas. After quarantine, you're free to travel to other parts of Thailand.

Non-Vaccinated under Quarantine Program_Travelers who are unvaccinated or only partially vaccinated are still permitted to visit Thailand. However, before they can travel to Thailand, they must first complete a 10-night quarantine in a certified ASQ or AQ quarantine hotel.
